Invitation to Participate: Middle States Site Visit, Oct. 25-28

Dear Colleagues and Students,

As part of the reaffirmation of Drexel University’s accreditation, we will welcome a peer evaluation team from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) for a site visit October 25-28. We invite students, faculty and professional staff to register for an opportunity to participate.

The site visit marks the culmination of a two-year self-study process involving broad participation across the University. A 16-member steering committee of faculty and professional staff, along with working groups comprising more than 80 members of the Drexel community, led a comprehensive examination of the University’s work and progress. Their efforts resulted in a 100-page self-study report supported by extensive evidence that will serve as a foundation for the evaluation team’s review. The report was reviewed and approved by University leadership and shared with the Drexel community in July.

Your participation is an important part of the evaluation process. During the visit, the MSCHE team will meet with members of the University community to learn more about our mission, priorities and accomplishments, as well as our ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional effectiveness and student success. We encourage participants to engage candidly and thoughtfully, sharing their experiences and perspectives as part of Drexel’s commitment to continuous improvement.
