Procurement Services encourages suppliers to obtain relevant certification(s), which allow suppliers to connect with a broader group of their peers, as well as gain valuable insights and connections to local and national business communities. Examples of certification entities include:

• Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC)
• National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)
• U.S. Small Business Administration
• VA Verification Program
• Women's Business Enterprise Council (PA, DE, sNJ)
