Register for the 2021 Pennsylvania Primary Election

Sept. 22 is National Voter Registration Day, and Drexel University would like to take this opportunity to encourage all eligible students, faculty and professional staff to register to vote and verify their registration status.

The following message was sent to the Drexel community on April 6:

Dear Dragons,

The Office of Government and Community Relations and the Lindy Center for Civic Engagement would like to remind you to register to vote in the Tuesday, May 18, Pennsylvania Primary Election. Monday, May 3 is the last day to register to vote in the spring primary.

The last day to request a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot is May 11 by 5 p.m. Ballots can be requested here: www.votespa.com/Voting-in-PA/Pages/Mail-and-Absentee-Ballot.aspx.

As the University is called upon from time to time to perform its civic duty as a forum for political discourse, we encourage all community members to register to vote and participate in the upcoming election.

To check your registration status, download a voter registration form, or find information about your polling place, visit www.VotesPA.com. For more information, check the Pennsylvania Department of State website or call the Department of State's toll-free hotline at 1.877.VOTESPA (877.868.3772). Also, find information from the Philadelphia City Commissioners at www.philadelphiavotes.com/.

Voting plays a central role in shaping government and the future of our country. Thank you for exercising your civic duty.
