WKDU's GM Gives His Top 5 to See at Firefly

It’s safe to say that the people over at Drexel’s student-run radio station, WKDU 91.7 FM, know a thing or two about music.
So, with the biggest music festival in the area taking place this weekend in Dover, Delaware, DrexelNow reached out to see what acts are a must-see.
Peter Liu, WKDU’s general manager, gave his top picks to making the most out of the festival if you’re heading down there.

1. Paul McCartney
“Need a reason to see Sir Paul McCartney? You shouldn’t need one. This is the closest you'll probably ever get to seeing The Beatles perform.”
Firefly Main Stage: Friday, 10 p.m.–12:30 a.m.
2. ODESZA
“After a nearly sold-out tour in support of their latest record, ‘In Return,’ ODESZA is coming to Delaware with electronic music you can dance to.”
The Pavilion Stage, Friday, 6:45–7:45 p.m.
3. Vacationer
“Hailing from Philly, Vacationer is bringing in the good vibes and chill pop jams. Come take a trip, a trip's all you need.”
The Porch Stage, Saturday, 8:15–9:15 p.m.
4. RJD2
“Having just put out a collaborative album with STS (‘STS x RJD2’) in May, RJD2 is sure to get the crowd groovin' with his hip-hop beats.”
The Pavilion Stage, Sunday, 5:45–6:45 p.m.
5. Tycho
“Originally a solo project for Scott Hansen, Tycho has been transformed into a three-piece band with their most recent album, ‘Awake.’ They will be closing out The Pavilion Stage Thursday night ahead of the long weekend to come.”
The Pavilion Stage, Thursday, 10:45 p.m.–12 a.m.
Honorable Mention: Lizzo
“She was named by Time as one of 14 music artists to watch in 2014. She werks it like a boss and she'll be werking it at The Forest Stage Saturday afternoon.”
The Forest Stage, Saturday, 3–3:45 p.m.
