President Fry Commencement 2012
Congratulations to the Class of 2012! The unique talent and ambition of Drexel students is at the core of this University, and the single biggest reason for our success. That is why Commencement is such a meaningful day, because it’s our chance to celebrate your prodigious achievements. I look forward to hearing about your future successes. I know you will follow in the footsteps of other Drexel graduates, and quickly make your mark in business, in public service, in academia, and in any other field where drive and dedication are cultivated and rewarded. I hope you will remember your Drexel education fondly. You can serve as Drexel’s best ambassadors. Please stay involved with Drexel and your fellow alumni, starting today. The Alumni Association can be a great resource for you, and will also connect you to those students who follow you. I have a charge for today’s graduates. You have worked very hard to reach this milestone. You have also been given the great gift of a Drexel education. You, in turn, should use that gift for the good of the world—to enrich your neighborhoods and communities, to tackle the problems that threaten our society’s health and prosperity, and to have a positive impact on the many lives with which you come in contact. I am incredibly proud to share this day with you and your families. Enjoy every moment. Thank you, and congratulations.
