What: More than 2,750 freshmen will enter Drexel this year—a record. The highest increase is noted in out-of-state and international students. The number of international students has increased by 28 percent while students from states other than Pennsylvania and New Jersey increased 89 percent over last year. Drexel will welcome 100 undergraduate students from China alone. About 137 Californians will enroll versus 62 last year.Who: Students enrolled in Drexel’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, College of Arts and Sciences and Goodwin College will get a preview of the University during their two-day stay.Details: Welcome, 9 to 10 a.m. (Mandell Theater, 33rd and Chestnut Streets) Hundreds of students and their families being welcomed by Drexel students and officials. Dragon Expo, noon to 1 p.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. (Edmund D.
