Things to Do in Philly — June 2022

Are you in Philadelphia helping your student move out of housing, or are still in the area after Commencement fun? Or are you going to help your student move back to the city for the summer term? There’s a lot to do to have fun and enjoy the good weather!
- It’s Pride Month! Take a tour of Philly’s famous Gayborhood and learn about its cultural impact and social history.
- Get outside with the Spruce Street Harbor Park, with lots of space to hang out and try treats from local food vendors.
- Try your hand at roller-skating and more fun and games at the River Rink SummerFest.
- Right nearby is the Cherry Street Pier, with plenty of arts, goods and other opportunities to sample the best of Philly’s food and goods scenes.
- June 18 is the 25thAnniversary GayBINGO, a fun twist on a classic game and community activity.
- June 25 is Family Pride Day at the Franklin Institute, which will feature special programming and one-of-a-kind experiences.
- Want to take a trip outside of the city? Live local? June 26 brings the Bucks-Mont PRIDE Festival, a free indoor/outdoor event with arts, food, community resources and lots of activities.
