Research on the reach and accuracy of information on autism on the social media app TikTok co-authored by Elisabeth Sheridan, PhD, director of the Clinical Core and associate professor, and Giacomo Vivanti, PhD, an associate professor, both in the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute, was mentioned in a June 26 Psychology Today article about how teens are using TikTok to self-diagnose mental health conditions.
