The Legacy Center Archives and Special Collections at the College of Medicine was mentioned in a March 29 Philadelphia Inquirer story about Anandibai Joshee – the first-ever South Asian woman to become a doctor – who graduated from the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1886.
