The First Edition of the Big 5 Tournament Turned Out To Be a Winner

Men's basketball head coach Zach Spiker was quoted in a Dec. 3 Philadelphia Inquirer story about the success of the inaugural Big 5 Classic at the Wells Fargo Center, in which Drexel upset No. 18 Villanova in the opening game. The Dragons' historic victory was featured in a number of stories over the weekend, including pieces in The Inquirer, The Washington Post, the Associated Press, Philly Voice and mentioned during WPVI-TV (6-abc) and WCAU-TV (NBC-10) newscasts.
