CDC Recommends RSV Drug To Protect Babies Ahead of Virus’ Anticipated Fall Spread

Sarah Long, MD, a professor in the College of Medicine, was quoted in Aug. 3 stories in NBC News, Medpage Today, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and Inside Health Policy about an advisory committee to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – of which Long is a member – that voted unanimously on Thursday to recommend an injectable RSV drug for two groups of infants.
