CDC Signs off on Booster Shots for Children Ages 5 to 11

Sarah Long, MD, a professor in the College of Medicine, was quoted in a May 19 ABC News story about the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention giving the green light to expand eligibility for a COVID-19 booster to all kids over the age of 5 years. The decision was also covered May 19 by MedPage Today, and ABC radio stations, including WADK (Newport, Rhode Island) and WBAL (Baltimore, Maryland), among other outlets.
