US Urges COVID Boosters Starting at Age 12 To Fight Omicron

Sarah Long, MD, a professor in the College of Medicine, was quoted in a Jan. 5 Associated Press article about a vote from advisors from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in favor of a booster for younger teens once enough time — five months — has passed since their last shot. The article ran in the Denver Gazette, News 12 Long Island, WHDH-TV (Boston, Massachusetts) and other outlets nationwide. Long was also quoted in a Dec. 5 Barron’s article on the vote.
