Nebraska's New Hair Discrimination Ban Celebrated at North Omaha Event

Wendy Greene, JD, a professor in the Kline School of Law, was quoted in a June 19 Omaha World-Herald article about legislative bill 451, which expands a ban on racial discrimination in the workplace to include discrimination based on hair textures or styles historically associated with race, such as protective hairstyles that include braids, locks and twists.
