Abi Aghayere, PhD, a professor in the College of Engineering, was quoted in a July 17 Miami Herald story about new details that surfaced about the structural engineer who inspected Champlain Towers upon its completion in 1980. The story was picked up via the McClatchy News Service, by a number of outlets across the country, including Yahoo! News and MSN News.
