Upcycled Certification Standard Gets the Go Ahead

Drexel was mentioned in a Jan. 14 Food Business News article about the Upcycled Food Association's recently approved Upcycled Certification Standard for food and beverage products featuring upcycled ingredients. The Drexel Food Lab, in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, was a founding member of the Upcycled Food Association and research conducted in the Lab helped the UFA define the term “upcycled food.”
