Upcycled Certified Mark Debuts

Drexel was mentioned in an April 22 Progressive Grocer and Food Navigator USA articles about the Upcycled Food Association’s (UFA) new certification mark to provide consumers with a clear guidance about the presence of upcycled food ingredients in a range of products. The Food Lab, in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, has been an integral partner with the UFA in conducting research for the creation of the seal, as well as defining the term “upcycled food” for the organization.
