Llama 'Nanobodies’ May Yield COVID-19 Treatment, Pitt Scientists Say

Zachary A. Klase, PhD, an associate professor in the College of Medicine, was quoted in a Nov. 5 Philadelphia Inquirer article about preliminary results, published in Science, that suggest that llama-derived molecules pack a far greater punch than COVID-19 antibodies produced by humans.
