Karen Weaver, EdD, an associate clinical professor in the Sport Management program in the LeBow College of Business, authored a pair of columns in Forbes on June 11. One focused on what athletes and parents of athletes should be asking sports programs about COVID-19 precautions before returning to campus for workouts, while the second focused on the Power 5 conferences and the American Council on Education recently lobbying congress about names, image and likeness legislation and temporary COVID-19 liability protections, respectively. Weaver was also featured on a May 30 WILO-AM (Frankfort, Indiana) “Inside the Huddle” broadcast about the possibility of college sports returning in the fall.
