Sharrelle Barber, ScD, an assistant research professor, and Usama Bilal, PhD, MD, an assistant professor, both in the Dornsife School of Public Health, were quoted in a July 8 New York Times article about a new study showing that race, ethnicity, age and gender can raise a person’s chances of dying from COVID-19.
