Masks May Reduce Viral Dose, Some Experts Say

Charles Haas, PhD, LD Betz professor of environmental engineering in the College of Engineering, was quoted in a July 27 New York Times story about new research suggesting that wearing a mask can help prevent the wearer from contracting an acute case of COVID-19 by reducing the amount of virus they're exposed to.
