Ellen Staurowsky, EdD, a professor in the Sport Management program of LeBow College of Business, was quoted in a Sept. 25 Times and Democrat (Orangeburg, South Carolina) opinion piece about two South Carolina lawmakers introducing a bill similar to the recently passed California bill, known as "Fair Pay to Play" act, allowing college athletes to receive compensation for their name, image and likeness.
