Nate Rice, PhD, collection manager of Ornithology in the Academy of Natural Sciences, was quoted in a Sept. 23 Philadelphia Inquirer story about the saltmarsh sparrow, a vulnerable species that could vanish from New Jersey in the next 20 years.
