Philadelphia’s Next Challenge: Stemming the Tide of America’s New Urban Crisis

Richard Florida, PhD, Drexel’s inaugural Philadelphia Fellowship recipient, authored a March 24 “Currents” article in the Philadelphia Inquirer about a new urban crisis, where rising growth is increasing gentrification, housing costs and inciting social division. The Philadelphia Fellowship was created as a collaboration by Drexel University, Thomas Jefferson University and the University City Science Center.
