A 2012 study by Ellen Staurowsky, EdD, a professor in the Sport Management program of the LeBow College of Business, was mentioned in a July 5 South Florida Sun Sentinel story about California Senate Bill 206, the "Fair Pay to Play Act," which would ensure athletes at California's 15 state universities are allowed to make money from the use of their name, image and likeness.
