Trump Pushes for US to Commit on Artificial Intelligence

Jeffrey Popyack, PhD, a professor in the College of Computing & Informatics, was quoted in a Feb. 11 Courthouse News Service story about the president’s executive order, “American AI Initiative,” that calls for the federal government to support greater development of artificial intelligence technology and ramp up education programs that would give workers the computer science background they need to work with the technology.
