Goldstein, PhD, an assistant research professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health, was quoted in an April 18 Philadelphia Inquirer article on possible reasons why Philadelphia has not seen a measles outbreak in 2019. With 555 cases of measles in the United States reported so far this year, 2019 is shaping up to be one of the worst years in decades for the highly contagious disease.
