Wanted: More Girls in STEM Careers - Opinion

An op-ed by Drexel President John Fry and TechGirlz Founder Tracey Welson-Rossman, on efforts to get more girls and young women interested in science, technology, engineering and math fields, was published May 30 in The Philadelphia Inquirer. Drexel’s LeBow College of Business and TechGirlz recently announced plans to partner on a wide range of initiatives, including workshops and summer camps, designed to build a broad interest in STEM among area students.
