A May 30 Buildings.com story featured research by Peter DeCarlo, PhD, an associate professor in the College of Engineering; Michael Waring, PhD, also an associate professor in the College and Anita Avery, PhD, a former doctoral student, about how building ventilation systems can spread third-hand smoke chemicals indoors. DeCarlo was also interviewed during a May 29 segment on Jefferson Public Radio (NPR-Oregon) about the research.
