Peter DeCarlo, PhD, an associate professor in the College of Engineering, was quoted in a Jan. 31 Plan Philly story about community groups near the Philadelphia Energy Solutions refinery in South Philadelphia pushing for more stringent air quality regulations now that PES has filed for bankruptcy.
