Drexel University Researchers Work to Prevent Future Mid-Air Disasters

Antonios Kontsos, PhD, an associate professor in the College of Engineering, was featured in an April 25 WCAU-TV (NBC-10) story about his lab’s research on detecting material fatigue and how this could help prevent structural failures like the one that caused an engine explosion in Southwest Flight 1380.
