Christopher Peters, PhD, a teaching professor in the College of Engineering, was quoted in an April 19 Philadelphia Inquirer story about how air traffic controllers used radar to detect debris from Southwest Airlines Flight 1380 when its engine exploded, forcing an emergency landing in Philadelphia earlier this week.
