Prenatal Multivitamins Linked to Lower Autism Risk

A study by Elizabeth DeVilbiss, PhD, a graduate of the Dornsife School of Public Health,and Brian Lee, PhD, associate professor in the school, was featured in an Oct. 5 Chicago Tribune story about how multivitamin use during pregnancy is tied to a decrease in autism risk in children. The story continued to circulate in ABC affiliates across the country including KFSN-TV (abc-Fresno, Calif.), KEYT-TV (abc-Santa Barbara, Calif.) and WKEF-TV (abc-Dayton, Ohio).
