As Construction Booms, Philadelphia Seeks to Preserve Its Past

Harris Steinberg, executive director of the Lindy Institute for Urban Innovation and distinguished teaching professor in Westphal College, was quoted in an Nov. 14 New York Times article preservation in Philadelphia and the proposed elimination of the federal historic building tax credit that has enabled the rehabilitation of more than 300 historic buildings in Philadelphia from 2002 to 2016, according to the National Trust.
