Yaghoob Farnam, PhD, an assistant professor in the College of Engineering, was featured in a May 25 Upworthy story about his research on making durable concrete from recycled materials that can withstand degradation caused by deicers. Farnam was also quoted in a May 19 Good News Network story about his research on durable concrete that can withstand deterioration caused by road salt.
