Yahgoob Farnam, PhD, an assistant professor in the College of Engineering, was interviewed on Scientific American's “60-Second Science” podcast on May 19 about his research to produce cement that can withstand degradation caused by road salt. Farnam’s work was also featured in a New Atlas story on May 19.
