Annie Shearer, a research assistant in the College of Nursing and Health Professions' Family Intervention Science program, was quoted in a May 9 Philadelphia Inquirer story and a May 10Daily Beast article, both about her research about differences in prevalence of mental health symptoms among lesbian, gay, bisexual and questioning people. Guy Diamond, PhD, director of the Family Intervention Science program and co-author on the study, was mentioned in both pieces.
