Drexel Partners With Investors to Launch $10 Million Fund to Create Firms From University Projects

Keith Orris, senior vice president for Corporate Relations and Economic Development, and Shintaro Kaido, director of Startup Services at Drexel Ventures, were quoted in Nov. 19 stories on Philly.com, Philly Voice, Technically Philly and the Philadelphia Business Journal about the establishment of a $10 million seed fund with Ben Franklin Technology Partners that will support Drexel-related startups. A Nov. 20 Philadelphia Inquirer story also mentioned Wan Shih, PhD, an associate professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, Wei-Heng Shih, a professor in the College of Engineering, and Drexel’s ExCITe Center.
