A story on Yahoo News on March 6 featured the work of the Healing Hurt People program of the Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice in the College of Medicine and School of Public Health, addressing psychological trauma to help young victims of violence after they are seen in emergency rooms. Center co-directors Ted Corbin, MD, an associate professor in the College of Medicine and director of Healing Hurt People, John Rich, MD, a professor in the School of Public Health, and Sandra Bloom, MD, an associate professor in the School of Public Health, were quoted.
