Empathy Training for Docs

Dennis Novack, MD, a professor and associate dean of medical education in the College of Medicine, and Christof Daetwyler, MD, an associate professor, were quoted in a Philadelphia Inquirer article on July 12 about the recent purchase of the College’s digital communications-skills training and assessment technology by DecisionSim, Inc. Novack and Daetwyler developed the technology at Drexel to train medical students in empathy skills. The technology was also featured in MedCity News on July 10.
