Expert Panel Withholds Support for Early Autism Screening

Diana Robins, PhD, an associate professor in the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute and leader of the research program area in early detection and intervention, was quoted in a New York Times article on Aug. 3 about a new proposal from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force stating that there is not yet enough evidence to recommend universal early autism screening for young children.
