Drexel Law Gets $50 Million from Philadelphia Trial Lawyer

The renaming of Drexel University’s School of Law as the Thomas R. Kline School of Law, in honor of a landmark $50 million gift, was featured on The Wall Street Journal’s blog on Sept 18. President John A. Fry was quoted. Kline’s law firm was profiled in The Philadelphia Inquirer in light of his gift, the announcement was spotlighted in Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s “Business of Law” column and the Philadelphia Business Journal ran a question-and-answer session with Kline on Sept. 19. The ABA Journal ran the announcement on Sept. 18 with a quote from President Fry and the National Law Journal featured the news on their homepage.
