Drexel Student Dies From Meningococcal Infection

The death of Stephanie Ross, an undergraduate student in the College of Engineering, on March 10 was confirmed on March 12 to have been caused by meningococcal infection. The story appeared in March 12 local news broadcasts including WCAU-TV (NBC-10) and NBCPhiladelphia.com; WPVI-TV (6-abc), WTFX-TV (FOX-29), KYW-TV (CBS-3), WPHL-TV (PHL-17), and WPSG-TV (The CW 57). A March 13 NBCNews.com article also covered the confirmed infection and an update appeared in the Associated Press on March 13.
