Alison Ventura, PhD, an assistant professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, was quoted in a Philadelphia Inquirer on June 19 in a story about the controversy surrounding a proposal to allow WIC benefits for low-income mothers of young children to cover the purchase of white potatoes.
