N.C.A.A. Votes to Give Richest Conferences More Autonomy

Ellen Staurowsky, EdD, a professor in the Center for Hospitality and Sport Management, was quoted in The New York Times and Reuters on Aug. 7 about the NCAA board’s vote to let top athletic conferences make their own rules on several issues affecting athletes and competition.
