Wan Shih, PhD, an associate professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, and Wei-Heng Shih, PhD, a professor in the College of Engineering, were featured in an Aug. 24 Philadelphia Daily News story about their piezoelectric plate sensor research and the start-up they founded to help make it a commercially viable product.
