Report: Gay, lesbian parents face court bias

Emily Haney-Caron, a JD/PhD candidate in Drexel’s joint program in psychology and law in the College of Arts and Sciences and School of Law, was interviewed on MSNBC’s “News Nation” on April 22 about a new review revealing that LGBT parents face bias in the courts during custody disputes. The review was conducted by Haney-Caron and Kirk Heilbrun, PhD, a professor in the College of Arts and Sciences. The review was also featured on The Advocate on April 22.
