Watershed to be test site for water-quality projects

Stories in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Associated Press on April 1 highlighted a new, $35 million set of grants from the William Penn Foundation to support watershed research and protection in targeted areas of the Delaware watershed, to organizations including the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. Roland Wall, senior director of environmental initiatives at the Academy, was quoted in the Inquirer story about the Academy’s role providing centralized, scientific guidance for the effort by multiple organizations.
