Michael Weingarten, MD, a professor in the College of Medicine, and Josh Samuels, a graduate student in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, were featured in video about their research into using ultrasound to heal chronic wounds that was produced by the National Institute of Health. The piece was picked up by WGNO-TV (New Orleans) on Dec. 16.
