Five Phila.-area schools to begin wellness program

Dr. Stella Volpe, a professor and chair of the Department of Nutrition Sciences in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, was quoted in a Philadelphia Inquirer article on August 22 about an intensive nutrition and fitness initiative in Philadelphia area schools which she will evaluate through a controlled study.
